Verification & age assurance

We try to be precise about a word marketing loves to stretch. On xvideochat, "verified" means age-gated and moderated — a real 18+ door plus behaviour-based review. It is honest age assurance, not a claim that we have checked anyone's passport.

What the 18+ gate is

  • A hard 18+ confirmation that runs before any room can load — decline and you leave the site.
  • A per-device flag once you confirm, so the gate is not repeated every visit (it stores that you confirmed, not your date of birth).
  • Behaviour-based moderation: members are watched in real time and removed when they break the rules.
  • Report-driven enforcement, so anyone who slips through can be flagged by the people they meet.

What it is not

  • It is not a government-ID or document upload by default — there is no sign-up, so there is no identity file to collect.
  • It is not a guarantee about anyone's identity, only an age-assurance floor plus moderation.
  • It does not create a public profile, a verified badge to show off, or a record tied to your real name.

We spell this out because "verified members only" is easy to over-read. The honest version: everyone crossed an age gate and is subject to moderation, which raises the floor — it does not turn anonymity into identity verification. That is by design, and it is what keeps the rooms anonymous.

Keeping the floor adult-only

Three things work together: the gate sets the entry condition, real-time moderation watches for anyone who does not belong, and reports from members catch what automation misses. Anything suggesting an underage user is treated as the top priority and leads to a permanent ban. No gate is perfect, which is exactly why the report path matters — if someone seems under 18, report them immediately.
