about us · 18+ · consent-first

The team behind the random video chat lounge.

xvideochat exists because grown-up conversation deserves a room of its own — age-gated at the door, anonymous by design, and ended only when you say so.

What XVideoChat is

XVideoChat is a random video chat platform for adults: one tap drops you into a private 1-on-1 cam room with another 18+ stranger who is online right now. There is no feed to scroll, no profile to fill, and no sign-up wall. The product is the room — everything else we build is in service of making that room feel safe, honest and instantly leaveable.

We operate the platform as an independent team focused on one vertical: consent-first, adults-only random chat. We are not a network of cloned sites, and we do not resell or publish anything that happens inside a room.

What we hold ourselves to

  1. 01

A real door, not a checkbox

Every visitor passes a hard 18+ confirmation gate before anything else loads. Decline and you leave the site — we do not rely on SafeSearch labels or buried fine print.

  2. 02

    Private by default

No profiles, no email, no phone number. A video room needs camera permission before it can start, and voice-only or text-only rooms are always there if you would rather stay off cam.

  3. 03

    Moderation that actually runs

Automated content filters plus live reviewers cover every room in real time. Block and report both sit on the other person's profile — a block keeps them from being matched with you again, and a report goes straight to our trust & safety queue. Repeat offenders are removed permanently.

  4. 04

    You end the room, always

Mute, next and hang up sit live on the call screen — never buried in a menu. Next or hang up ends the room instantly, and nothing from the session is recorded on our side.

Privacy, in one paragraph

We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to use the lounge. Room sessions are not recorded on our side — close the tab and the room is gone with it. The full detail of what we collect and why lives in our Privacy Policy, and the rules of the house are in the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
