Community Guidelines

xvideochat is a private, adults-only random video chat. One room, two people, ended the moment either of you says so. These are the rules that keep that room worth being in.

The rules of the room

  1. 01

Adults only — 18+, no exceptions

Everyone in a room is an adult. The age gate is a hard door, not a checkbox. Any sign that a user is under 18 — claimed or apparent — must be reported immediately and results in a permanent ban.

  2. 02

    Consent comes first

A shared room is not consent to anything. The other person can skip, mute or end the room at any second, and so can you. Pushing, pressuring or trying to coerce someone after they signal no is a violation.

  3. 03

    No recording or re-sharing

Sessions are not recorded on our side, and you may not record, screenshot or re-broadcast another person without their explicit agreement. Capturing a room to share or threaten someone is grounds for a permanent ban.

  4. 04

    No harassment, hate or threats

Slurs, threats, stalking, doxxing or repeated unwanted contact have no place here. Disagreement is fine; targeting a person is not.

  5. 05

Keep it between the two of you

Rooms are private 1-on-1 spaces. Do not use them to advertise, scam, phish for personal or financial details, or drive people to off-platform content.

Zero tolerance

Some things end an account on the first instance, with no warning: any child sexual abuse material or underage presence, non-consensual recording or sextortion, and credible threats of violence. We remove the account permanently and cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires it.

The controls are in your hands

You never have to wait for us to leave a bad room. Skip and mute sit live on the call screen; block and report are on the other person's profile:

  • Skip — end this room and move to the next person.
  • Mute — silence the other side instantly, without leaving.
  • Block — from their profile; once blocked, they are not matched with you again.
  • Report — from their profile; a short form that goes to our trust & safety queue.

How we enforce

Moderation runs in real time: automated content filters watch rooms continuously and flag violations, backed by live human reviewers. A report attaches the session context for that flag. Confirmed breaks of these rules lead to removal; serious cases and repeat offenders are banned permanently. Reports are reviewed — bad-faith or abusive reporting is itself a violation.

Report or ask

Use the report button on that person's profile for anything happening live — it is the fastest path and carries the context with it. For everything else, see the Help Center or contact us. What we collect is set out in the Privacy Policy, and the full house rules in the Terms of Service.
