The fastest way to deal with a bad room is to leave it, then open that person's profile and tap report — a short form that carries the details to our team. Here is exactly what to report, what happens after, and how underage or illegal content is handled.
Open the profile of the person you were talking to and tap Report. It opens a short form — pick up to three reasons, describe what happened in up to 300 characters, and attach up to three photos as evidence if you have them. Block sits on the same profile page. This is the fastest path and the one to use whenever something is happening live.
If you cannot reach that person's profile, write to [email protected]. Because there is no account, include the rough date and time and what happened so we can locate the case.
Underage risk, credible threats and non-consensual recording jump the queue and are handled as the top priority. Other reports are worked through in turn.
Confirmed serious violations end an account permanently, with no warning for the worst categories. We cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires it.
When in doubt, report — bad-faith reporting is itself a violation, but acting on a genuine concern never is. How the team reviews what you send is described on moderation.
xvideochat is strictly 18+ and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material or any underage presence. If you encounter it, use the report button on that person's profile immediately, or email us with the time and details. These reports are the highest priority, lead to permanent removal, and are escalated to law enforcement as required.
Do not email screenshots, recordings or explicit content from a session — we do not need them to act, and we do not want copies of private rooms. A clear description plus the rough date and time is enough. General questions that are not safety reports can go through the contact page.
