  Across our global pool the lounge peaks between 22:00 and 02:00 in whatever local timezone has the most people online. Right now the global peak hour is around 23:00 UTC — but because we match across regions, you almost always find someone awake who is also looking for a late-night room.

• What counts as "after-dark" chat?+

  It is partly a tone (slower, lower-stakes, voice-first welcome) and partly an audience — people who came online specifically because the daytime feed-and-swipe rhythm is not what they want. The filters, the moods on this page, and the room defaults all lean toward the late-night use case.

• Is the lounge moderated at 3am the same as at 3pm?+

  Yes. Automated moderation runs 24/7. The human queue rotates on a follow-the-sun schedule — there is always someone reviewing flagged rooms, regardless of the hour.

• Do I have to turn my camera on?+
